We Are ONE Body of Christ: Together in Mission – Together in Youth Ministry
For Youth Ministry Coordinators, Adult Team Members, and high school team members
It is the diversity of the body that makes us better. Improve your ministry be seeing it from another perspective. You can’t say the words “youth and young adult ministry” in the diocese of Sacramento without also saying the words “Hispanic ministry.” Hispanic/Latinos make up more than 50% of Catholics in our diocese and a large majority of Hispanic Catholics fall into the youth & young adult age group. What can the experience and practice of Hispanic youth ministry teach us all about how to do youth ministry better and more effectively with all our youth? How can we better reach out to Hispanic youth and utilize their gifts and talents in our youth ministries? What is the Encuentro process and how can its pastoral recommendations help us shape more inclusive, responsive, and effective ministry? Join an enthusiastic team of Hispanic Young Adults from our diocese fresh from the RECOSS Leadership Training in Fresno, for a dynamic day of discussion and dialogue. Workshop offered in English & Spanish.
